So let me start by saying, there is nothing quite like a warm, homemade pie with a gooey filling and a flaky crust on a brisk, November day. And today just happens to be the perfect day for prep work. I’ve got lunch on the stove. The stove has made it warm and toasty in the kitchen so we have the window above the sink open. We can hear the rustle of the leaves we have yet to rake as they blow in the wind. And of course we have good ‘ole George on the radio.
